Background
Glioblastoma is a devastating disease for which there is no known cure. Upon diagnosis, it is often too late for treatment to be effective and is only done to buy time, extending the inevitable. For family members and friends, it is hard to witness the fast and aggressive nature of GBM and makes you feel powerless against such a monster of a disease.
That is where we have received tremendous support from Sutter Care at Home - Hospice of the Valley. They were able to support, not only, Matt and making sure he was comfortable, but also our family emotionally while providing guidance.
