Background
HERO is a non-profit group which helps families of addicts through support groups, provision of life-saving Narcan and education for youth in the schools. It was founded by two dads who lost their sons to addiction. The group strives to spread awareness and de-stigmatize the problem of opiate addiction in the Will County, IL area.
