Matt Picon, born April 10, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. Son of Gloria Pasework and Ron Picon, died in San Francisco, California on November 11, 2022. Matt spent most of his childhood in Arizona and even graduated from Arizona State University. After graduation, Matt would spend time in Portland and Las Vegas before finally settling in to San Francisco.

In San Francisco Matt flourished, creating art and community everywhere he went. Whether it be his extravagant events, beautiful installations, influence of drag, or impeccable style; Matt became known throughout San Francisco for what he was doing and what he was creating. Every drag queen in San Francisco has worked with Matt in some capacity or the other and love him or hate him, he would always do what needed to be done to make the show go on.

On September 17th, 2017 Matt married Robby Long and lived out the rest of his days in loving happiness with their two cats, Tucker and Jolene.

Matt’s memorial service will be on November 22 at 4:00 PM at Fort Mason, Gallery 308.
