Mason's parents, Ben and Eden, were married on June 13th, 2025. Mason was literally a "honeymoon baby" and his parents were ecstatic to announce the news. In his 7 months of life en utero, he received more love than some people do in a lifetime. 

On January 19th, sweet Mason Ross went straight from his mama's womb into Jesus' arms. He is so missed, but his parents take comfort in knowing he knew nothing but love this side of Heaven and he will never have to experience pain or loss.

Ben and Eden chose Isaiah 43:1-2 to be Mason's life verse: But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel; "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. 

They also find hope further down in that chapter at verse 19: Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

 His life and his story have already made an impact. I (Gwen/Nana) went this morning to pick up the hand and footprint molds the nurses made. The lady I received them from immediately teared up and told me how many tears the nurses and doctors had shed this week and how they talked of the grace and strength Ben, Eden, and those of us who were able to be there with them exhibited throughout the labor and delivery. She said they talked of the obvious faith and trust in the goodness of God that Eden and Ben demonstrated throughout. 

So many of our friends and family are asking how they can best help. We appreciate the meals and flowers already sent. At this time, if you would like to do something for them, they would most appreciate donations to help with additional expenses such as their medical deductible, genetic testing, unpaid time off work, counseling co-pays, and a memorial of some type to remember that little Mason's life mattered.

Most of all, we ask for prayers for peace that transcends all understanding, joy in abundance as we watch God move, and hope in his plans for Eden and Ben's future.
