Mason's obituary

Mason Courrior tragically passed away on April 7th 2022 at a young age of 16. Mason had a loving passion for the sport of Baseball and had big dreams to make Baseball his career. Mason started Baseball at the age of 2 when he got his first bat he was a happy little boy. He grew up always holding a bat and playing in the house or he was seen playing baseball with his father in the backyard. Mason had the best connection with his father who lost his battle to cancer in 2021. Mason and his father were the best father and son duo that anyone had ever seen. He also had a good connection with two super close buddies. Tenzin and Cael have been Masons best friends since they were 4 years old and I am glad that Mason can still be with one of them. Even though he was only 16 he was determined that he was going to grow a family with a sweet and loving girl that he had been dating. They were dating for 6 months before Mason passed away. They got together on October 9 2021 and he told his mother and father about her only 2 days before the passing of his father. Mason always had a smile on his face and always goofed around to make his friends laugh even if it meant embarrassing himself. His mother was always told by his teachers that his grades were good but his energy was on another level. Masons best friend Tenzin passed away and Mason got super upset but still played the game of baseball for Tenzin (TZ13 as Mason would call him) and the team brought a picture of him wherever they played. Mason missed Tenzin very much but loved the last couple months without him in honour of his best friend. Mason started dealing with Mental Health issues. He fought through those issues so hard. Mason is outlived by his Mother, His 3 brothers, His girlfriend, His grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. Mason was pre-deceased by his father, best friend Tenzin, nephew, great grandparents and big brother Josh. Mason was loved dearly by all that knew him. He will forever be apart of everyone’s lives that he had touched in his short 16 years.
