Mason Phillip Bushweiler, 16, of Chisago City, MN, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2023. He was born on September 23, 2006, to Phillip and Amanda Bushweiler (Bratrud). Mason was a beloved son and big brother to Oliver and Josie, and an adored grandson of Craig and Julie Bushweiler (Breault) and Steven and Christine Bratrud (Schuster). He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Gloria Breault, and Al and Jolene Bushweiler.

Mason is survived by great-grandparents, Jerome Breault, Leland and Kathleen Schuster, and Robert and Sharon Bratrud. Nephew to Chase and Nichole Bushweiler (Cuddihy), Chasidy and Adam Shannon, Joshua Bushweiler, and Steven and Samantha Lindholm, Nicholas Bratrud, & Benjamin and Savanna Bratrud (Brittain), and many many cousins who absolutely adored him and you he adored.

Mason enjoyed fishing, catching sharks, hunting, camping, and yacht jumping just to name a few.

He was known for his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends, and his heart of gold.

Mason was also known for his infectious smile, his quick wit, and his big, big hugs. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel special.

Mason will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship that will never be forgotten.
