Marylou Nitz-nee Sauer, a beloved woman, passed away on October 7, 2025. Born on September 1, 1943, she led a life full of compassion and resilience. Marylou's unwavering kindness and love left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind her, son, Jason Nitz and her beloved grandson Hayden Nitz and her nephew  Mike Sauer, who will carry forward her legacy with grace and strength. Her warm heart and loving spirit will forever be cherished and missed. The void left by her passing is immeasurable, but her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us every day. Marylou is preceded by her son, Justin Nitz, her husband John Nitz and her loving brother Michael Sauer. Marylou was a graduate of Kelly HS in Chicago and Five Holy Martyrs. That huge laugh will be forever missed..
