Mary Ann was born on April 22, 1941 to Howard and Pauline Snyder in Northumberland Pennsylvania.
She graduated from South Williamsport High in 1959.
Mary Ann wed Ronald Metzger in December 1959. They had 3 children, Randy, Rick and Rachael.
Mary Ann's hobbies included gardening, counted cross stitch, crocheting, reading and sewing. She had a green thumb and her plants and flowers always flourished. She loved nature and seeing birds and animals in the back yard. She cherished her Golden Retrievers Murphy, Abby and Bambi. She loved looking for Native American Indian arrowheads, and walking on the beach in California looking for sea shells.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Howard and Barry. She is survived by her husband Ronald, her sisters Francis and Connie and her and Ronald's three children: son Randy and his wife Kim, son Rick and his wife Tenna and daughter Rachael and her significant other, Dean Fasnacht. She is also survived by grandchildren Katie, Ricky, Joshua and Jacob, and her step grandchildren Barton and Trina.
