Mary Ann's obituary
We regretfully announce the passing of loving wife and mother, Mrs. Mary Ann Ianni on February 21, 2026. Born in 1946, Mary Ann lived a fruitful and fulfilling life, known by those who loved her for her witty personality, her infectious laugh and her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her loving husband, James (Rocky) Ianni, her caring daughter Lori Creter, devoted son Ron Creter and daughter-in-law Barbara Creter. Mary Ann also leaves behind her granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Martin, brother, Don Martone and sister-in-law, Pamela Martone. She was predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Alba Martone of Linden NJ.
Mary Ann was also loved and will be missed by her 1st cousins Donna Komar and Concelia-Martone-Cook, as well as marital family, Don and Dee Ianni, Terry and Anthony Raguso, and Jimmy Ianni.
A lover of good food and red wine, Mary Ann's favorite dishes were Chicken Francese, a variety of Italian foods, Antipasto, and Peperoni roll. She found joy in the music of The Beatles, John Denver, and Neil Diamond, as well as spending her free time feeding the wild rabbits and bird watching in her backyard.
She enjoyed frequent trips to Atlantic City with her husband, playing penny slots, seeing shows and dining in some of Atlantic City's finest restaurants. But Mary Ann's proudest accomplishment was raising two children as a single parent. Her love and devotion to her family showcased the immense strength she held inside. Her greatest cause was her children, who she loved unconditionally and cared for tirelessly.
In this time of grief, we remember Mary Ann not as someone who has passed, but as someone who lived, who laughed, and who loved. We will carry her memory, her laughter and humor, her undying love for her family, and the warmth she brought to our lives, in our hearts forever.
