Mary's obituary

Mary Teresa Barron Richards Yannarella passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 at her residence, Liberty Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Mary was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Saint Ambrose Parochial School and from Cardinal Dougherty High School, and attended Holy Family College. Mary was a resident of Bucks County for many years, and  was a avid Philly sports fan for life. She worked as a medical assistant while also raising a family. Mary was a devoted wife to Ben Yannarella, and loving mother to her sons Mike and Thomas Richards, and her stepsons Eric and Travis Yannarella. She was the delighted mother-in-law of Sandra Richards, Mike's wife. Mary is also survived by her siblings Dorothy (Carl) Baldino, Paul (Denise), Kathleen (David) Justi, Diane, Daniel (Sara), Michael (Suzanne), Mark (Caren), by a sister-in-law Linda (Frank) Schettini, and a brother in law Donald (Christine) Richards. She also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces and nephews. She is also survived by an aunt, Teresa Dixon, uncle, Thomas Arnold (Eileen) and a robust number of cousins, who shared numerous fun times and sweet memories over the years. Mary inspired the love and devotion of many friends, roommates, and caregivers over the years as she met life’s vicissitudes with bravery and grace. She was predeceased by her father, John James Barron, her mother and best friend, Dorothy Arnold Barron, her brother John, several beloved aunts and uncles, and her angel daughter Marion, eagerly awaited, tragically lost, and now joyfully reunited in heaven.  A  private Celebration of Life is planned for June 21, 2025.
