I remember growing up with my big sister and many other big brothers & sisters in 70’s and 80’s. Mary and I were very close. Whether it was listening to disco or Jeffrey Osbourne On the Wings of Love. Watching Mash or Genl Hospital it didnt matter it was those very clear simple moments that were an important part of my time with her. She met the most challenging circumstances in her life with perseverance, optimism and love in her heart.
I am so thankful for all the laughs, card games, take-out and lots of pepsi’s ( not my preference, but as I recalled it she preferred Pepsi) we shared together. Regardless what things were happening in her life she always showed a genuine love & interest in me and my Family over the years.
My sister was smart, so loving & courageous throughout her life on earth. Circumstances that most would have gave up or gave in she chose to battle through them and made the most of her life. I couldnt be more proud of you Mary and draw inspiration from you in my own life.
I know your in the heart of God with all those we love and miss and will meet again.
I added On the Wings of Love to my playlist and will always remember our time together.
I love you so much and miss you!
