We mournfully announce the passing of Mary Torres, a woman of strength and independence, who left us on December 22, 2023. Mary, a woman who had the power to move mountains, was born on March 25, 1961, and blessed us with her love and resilience for 62 remarkable years.

Mary was predeceased by her grandson, Thomas Pena, with whom she now rests in eternal peace.

An epicure at heart, Mary had an extensive palate and loved all kinds of food. Always one for a soda, her love for fizzy drinks was known to all. As an avid lover of life's simple joys, she consistently found happiness in her animals and plants. Eating and spending time with her family were her favorite recreational activities, and these shared moments will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

Mary was more than just her passions, she was a strong, independent woman who changed the lives of those who knew her. Her determination and resolve were palpable, influencing many and leaving an indelible mark that will be remembered.
