It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Szurnicki on June 7th, 2024. Born on March 6th, 1958, Mary touched the lives of everyone she encountered with her warmth, compassion, and her kind, loving spirit. Mary will be truly and greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Szurnicki, and her children: Danielle Benton, Catherine Szurnicki, and Charles Szurnicki Jr. She was a beloved grandmother to grandsons Aiden Ondy and Hunter Benton, who will sadly grow up not knowing their wonderful grandmother.

Mary was the cherished sister of Michael Antosz, Stephen Antosz, John Antosz, Margaret Campigotto and Dennis Antosz, and loving sister-in-law to Gwen Antosz, Kathy Antosz, Karen Antosz, and Paul Campigotto. Mary's niece and nephews, Jennifer and Stephen Antosz, Dawn Szelog, Katie Alighieri, Jason Antosz, Joanna Antosz and Nicholas Campigotto, will remember their aunt with love and admiration.

She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Catherine Antosz. Mary's family was her world, and her world was her family. She was happiest when spending time with her loved ones, whether it was going out to dinner or lunch, or playfully tapping away on her iPad at home.

Mary was known to enjoy simple pleasures, such as a good cup of coffee, tea, or glass of water. She was also fond of watching movies, particularly those from Hallmark or Lifetime. Her legacy of kindness, warmth, and undying love for her family will forever remain in their hearts.

Everyone who knew Mary appreciated her caring nature and her genuine compassion for others. Those of us blessed to have known her will always remember her sparkling spirit and endless love. As we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that her memory will live on in each of us. Her love, her laughter, her warmth...these are gifts that she has given us to keep forever.
