Mary's obituary

Mary Patricia Swanson (Geyer/Burnette) passed away on December 25, 2023, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 55 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on May 8, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Patricia and Paul Geyer. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Antonio Servidio Sr.

Mary was a loving and outgoing woman who had a great sense of humor. She was always there for others when they needed her and was known for her helpful nature. Mary had a creative side and enjoyed making things with her hands. She was particularly fond of baking, fishing, crafting, and going on boat rides. Mary found solace in sitting down and having meaningful conversations to relax usually over coffee.

Family was of utmost importance to Mary, and she was very family-oriented. She is survived by her loving Husband Kevin Swanson whom she loved with her whole heart. Her children Michael Burnette, Antonio Servidio Jr., Tarrah Ranow (Shane and Ellen Ranow), Antoinetta Wilson (Jared Wilson), and Benedetta Terry (Keath Terry). And her ex son In law whom she loved as a son Richard Williams. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Orion Williams, Owen Williams, Evelynn Terry, Wyatt Ranow, Rylin Stanley, Lillain Ranow, and Tiffany Moffett(Matthew Moffett). Mary's stepchildren Susie Swanson Stanley (Adam Stanley), Matthew Swanson, and John Swanson were also an important part of her life. She is also survived by her brothers Phil, Tom, Paul, and Edward Geyer, as well as her sisters Mary Clare Geyer whom she absolutely adored and cared for for many years, and Mary Threse Brannon(Tommy Brannon). Mary will be greatly missed by her family, and all who knew her.

Mary had a special bond with her dog, Gus, who was her best little buddy. She adored him and considered him a part of her family.

A celebration of life in Mary's honor will be held by her family at a later date.

Mary Patricia Swanson will be remembered for her loving nature, her craftiness, and her unwavering support for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
