I have so many wonderful memories of Mary, the most vivid were weekends away from her time at Fox Croft and Rollins College. I helped her host some high school friends at our grandparents home in Round Hill, Virginia. All swam, sang and laughed throughout the night. While at Rollins, she and even more friends averted a hurricane and joined us on the opposite coast of Florida with a wonderful replay of years earlier - swimming, singing and laughing into the wee hours. Mary will be missed by all that knew her, she has no doubt joined the choir and is perhaps adding a slight Reggae beat to some of the heavenly standards.

Mary had a great spirit, joyful, and always smiling. We worked together at TBWA/Chiat/Day in NYC in the mid 2000s. After we had both moved on to other jobs, every once in awhile, I would get a random ‘butt dial’ from Mary’s phone. I would text her later to tell her about how often her phone would butt dial me, and we had a great laugh about it. She had no idea! Wherever you are now Mary, know that your light shone bright while here. And if there are cell phones there, you can butt dial me whenever you want :) My sincerest condolences to Mary’s family and loved ones.
