Flowers

I daydreamed I stood before your place of rest

Remembering, I loved you the best.

You struggled to stay in this world,

A tiny, beautiful baby girl.

When I heard you passed, I cried

My tears were not for you but for why you lied.

When I saw those last words, I came to know

Your death still reaps the flowers your life had sowed.

I am sad to see your last hour

But I take solace in the beauty of your flower,

Not the blossom in this day and hour,

But the struggling, blossom of a long-ago, tiny flower.

Known but unnamed

Mary was such a fashion icon to me as a pre-teen, when she was besties with my sister, Missy.  She was the coolest and the most sly, with her neon yellow nails and black outfits, and she was truly a hilarious, beautiful teen that inspired me to be original and bold. I am so incredibly sad I didn't get to see her in our adult days. I am sending so much love to you and your precious child. x

Brian, our hearts ache for you and Luke during this incredibly difficult time.  MK was a remarkable woman, and her love and spirit will forever remain in the memories you hold dear.
Mary lived a few doors down from me in Rob Roy when we were in high school, and her dad helped me get one of my first summer jobs. I remember her as bright, funny, and full of life — it’s hard to believe that was over 30 years ago. I’m truly heartbroken to hear this news. She was a wonderful person, and I’m grateful I got to know her.  I’m very sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry for you and Luke’s loss. I only met her a couple of times but she was funny and light. Praying your happy memories bring you comfort during this time. Sending all our love and condolences from the Jackson family.
I have so many happy memories of Mary: as her teacher, at our house so often as a teen, at Missy’s wedding, at your wedding, and even getting to hold your precious baby boy.  My hugs and sympathy to you, Brian and Luke.
I'm so sorry for your loss Brian. I'll be thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  I have loved her and cherished her friendship for over 35 years!  She loved hard and she loved deeply. I will miss her and her sarcastic whit always.  My condolences!
Beautiful person inside and out! I will always cherish our friendship. Xo
