She was the coolest and the most sly, with her neon yellow nails and black outfits, and she was truly a hilarious, beautiful teen that inspired me to be original and bold. I am so incredibly sad I didn't get to see her in our adult days. I am sending so much love to you and your precious child. x

Mary lived a few doors down from me in Rob Roy when we were in high school, and her dad helped me get one of my first summer jobs. I remember her as bright, funny, and full of life — it’s hard to believe that was over 30 years ago. I’m truly heartbroken to hear this news.
