Mary Jane Howard Smith, age 67, of Princeton, MN passed away on February 17, 2026 at her home in Princeton, MN.

Mary was from EL Dorado, Arkansas where she had lived most of her life. Mary & her husband Jeffery Smith moved to Minnesota to be with their kids and grandkids.

Mary loved her dogs as they were her children. Ruby her Boston terrier,kept her company & kept her going. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandkids aka her “girls”. They were also her world! Mary enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved summer & planting flowers making her yard look pretty. Mary loved everyone with her whole heart! Mary knew Jesus as her lord & savior.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband Jeffery Smith & her father Felix Arnold Howard. Mary was born in Little Rock, Arkansas January 7, 1959.

She is survived by her daughter Ashli & (Paul) Krzywon, granddaughters Nevaeh & Anorah of Princeton, MN. Mother Essie Faye Meyer & Sister Shirley ( Ronald Dean) Forrest, hosts of nieces & nephews, great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, all of Crossett, Arkansas.

Mary will be cremated. Cremation will be entrusted by Williams Dingmann of Princeton, MN. A future private service with her close family, as she requested, at later date.

Ruby’s forever home will be with her “girls”.
