Mary Alice Sherman

Mary Alice Sherman, 61, from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, departed from this life surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Mary was the embodiment of a caring spirit, a beacon of selflessness whose hands were always extended in love and support. To her, family was the compass that guided her heart, and in the laughter of her grandchildren - Brady, Caleb, Zoe, Bentley, Elliana, Lucy, Grayson, Amelia, Megan and Henry - she found the melody that serenaded her days.

She is survived by her devoted daughters Alicia (Josh), Cassie (Brandon) and Nicole (Devon). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren. Her sisters Sue (Keith) and Deb (John) remain the keepers of her childhood tales.

Mary is reunited with those who journeyed to the stars before her: her parents, Richard and Alice Sherman; her siblings, Bruce, David, Bill and Linda (Pete) along with many friends.

Mary took pleasure in life's simple joys: she was an avid shell collector along the shores of Florida, a patient fisher waiting for the day's catch, a gardener who loved growing, preserving and cooking her own foods, a lover of horror movies, and enjoying the thrill of luck in the casino.

A memorial to celebrate the beauty of Mary's life will be announced at a later date. Mary’s memory will be cherished forever, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
