Mary's obituary
Mary was buried at Cathedral of the Pines in Tyler, TX at 4pm.
Mary was born in Cali, Colombia on April 5, 1942 and was married to Luis Elder Quintero for 60 beautiful
years. Mary and Elder raised their family in Houston, TX before settling down in Tyler, TX where she was
a lifelong resident in her community.
Mary worked many years with her husband at their family owned furniture shop, Elders Furniture Repair
in Tyler, TX and also operated an herbal shop where she shared her passion for natural healing. Mary
enjoyed traveling in her younger years and was able to visit multiple countries throughout her lifetime.
Mary was a lifelong homemaker whose hobbies included cooking and painting. Mary loved the Lord and
was passionate about pursuing His word.
Mary is survived by her husband Luis Elder Quintero, her sisters Mariela Garcia Payan and brother in law Alvaro Payan Sr., and Aracely Tabares Ramirez Tabares and her brother in law Douglas Ramirez, her children Hernando Quintero and daughter in law Kim Quintero, her daughter Gloria Quintero Page and son in law Brad Page, her son Luis Elder Quintero Jr., her
nieces and nephews Ricardo Ramirez, Claudia Fernanda Ramirez, and Douglas Ramirez Jr., Alvaro Payan Jr., Juan Carlos Payan, Lucy Payan, Lorena Payan and her grandchildren Krystalin Aguilera, Carley Page, Chesley Burch, grandson in law David Burch, Branson Page, Jacob Quintero, Jonathan Quintero, Jace Quintero, Jessica Quintero, Shawn Quintero, Luz Mary Quintero, Fernando Quintero, Jose Manuel Quintero Jr., and her great-grandchildren Lola Brown, and Beaux Brown.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother Oliva Garcia Tabares and her father Jesús Tabares as well as
her sons Jose Manuel Quintero Tabares and Henry Quintero Tabares.
