She married Richard Lyle Green and they had three children together; Terri Green, April Green, and Richard Green Jr. She then married Edward J Protiva on January 8, 1973. She died on July 22, 2011, in Bedford Heights, Ohio, at the age of 71. The cause of death was Sepsis. She was cremated at Saint John Funeral Home in Bedford, OH.
