It’s been a year… one year without this amazing women. The one who not only raised her our beautiful children, but helped raised the generation after that. She did anything she could even if that meant her last meal going to her grand babies, or her last dollar going to one of her children in need. We may not think of these things or how it may have had a impact on our lives until it is to late to say thank you to her. So today I want to say thank you Great Grandma, thank you for giving me such a wonderful family, thank you for teaching me crafts, for watching me when no one else was available, and most importantly for the unconditional love that you gave to all of us! I love and miss you so much!šŸ’œ
Sending all our love and healing prayers during this difficult time.

Oh Mom, this is not how I was to save you. You are with your cherished people now and no longer in pain. You can be you, laugh, talk, be cherished and loved and love yourself! I will miss you so much, as I have for a long time. I am happy that you will be in a a better place now. That is the most important thing to me, even if it is not back here in Colorado as you always wished it to be since you left. Be a diamond in the sky and know that I have and always will love you with all my heart!!! Your loving Daughter, Gale
This is my beloved Grandmother!! This obituary NAILED her life. She loved ANYONE in her presence! And I KNOW I will have others chime in that: if she licked your face, she loved you hahahaha!! I'm beyond saddened that I did not get to be a part of her life in the last years and I am even more saddened by the fact that she only met her great grandkids 2 times in 9 years. But the memories are enough to leave a smile on my face and knowing that she was greeted by the BEST reunion when she arrived in Heaven! I LOVE YOU GRANDMA AND GIVE ALL OUR ANGELS A HUG!
In response to "How did you first meet Mary?"
Me-ma, may you spread your wings and fly with all of the other beautiful angels above. You were always my Me-ma and I will always be your Candyman. There are so many memories I have but one thing I am honored to get from you is to love with all your passion. Never let anyone tear you down. Growing up you had this singing teddy bear that was next to your bed that I always had to make sing, you never minded and always held me in your bed til we fell asleep. I will always cherish the words from that bear, "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep, if I die before I wake, I pray the lord my soul to take." I love you grandma.
