Mary Irene Morgan Carter, age 39, passed away on September 6, 2024 peacefully at home with her loving partner Josh by her side. Mary was born in Webster, Texas on September 11, 1984 to Cynthia McKellar and Luther Morgan. She spent most of her life in the DFW area where she raised her daughters and worked at TCU. After relocating to Galveston, Texas with Josh in 2020 she spent her days at the beach and met many new friends throughout the years. Mary was a friend to all and sprinkled magic everywhere she went. She will be remembered by her profound love for Disney, her family and friends.

Mary will forever be missed by her partner, Joshua Brewster, Children, Hailey and David McCullough, Cheyanne and Taylor Kubala, Lilley Carter and, Roman and Emma Andrews. Her grandsons Brayden McCullough and Waylon Kubala, her parents and many more family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her forever friends Tommy Assavedo and Corey Coke.

Mary made the selfless decision to donate her body to science many years ago. She was accepted to the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University where they have a large outdoor decomposition facility called the Forensic Anthropology Research Facility, and a growing documented human skeletal collection housed in the well-equipped Grady Early Forensic Anthropology Research Laboratory. Mary will continue to give the gift of learning as her soul rests in peace.
