On June 3, 2023, Mary S. McCubbin shuffled off this mortal coil and transitioned into sparkly stardust. She is survived by her beloved children, Danielle and Kyle Shoemaker, and Ryan and Kimberly Salayer, grandchildren Jack and “baby shoe” Shoemaker, and Sterling, Stevie Jean, and Selah Salayer. She is also survived by her parents, Donald and Marcia McCubbin, her sisters, Andria McCubbin, and Margarett (Brant) Johnson, and her nephews and nieces, Seth Wyatt, Rori and Isla McCubbin-Green, and Arthur, Archer, and Leo Johnson. They all think this sucks, but assume she will haunt them all, mostly when they are cooking.
