I’m so happy we took this photo at Marissa and Adrian’s wedding. It was a pleasure sitting next to you and catching up. Hearing your stories of you and Jeremiah’s trips to Starbucks. You will truly be missed. Your legacy definitely will live on in your children and the many lives you touched. Love you!
Mary started off as just my co-worker but became my dear friend. We talked almost everyday even when we didn’t work together. She taught me how to be cool when I wanted to go plum off,… She was always kind, pleasant and positive. No matter what came her way, she remained steadfast in knowing that it will all be alright. She coined, “Jesus Fix It” and we all use it to this day. I cant Thank God enough for bringing Mary Magdalene White into my life… Words escape me now…but Inhad to comment ….Val. Delois, Maryah, and Jeremiah—you served your mother well!!! It’s her love that shines in all of you! God bless all of you
Thank you for your love and your light.
Thank you for everything.   Words cannot express how much you meant to my life at SC State.  Wouldn’t be half of the person i am today without your loving leadership .
Delores U. Nwadeyi sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I never got to meet her, but she raised a beautiful sweet young woman and I know that you love your mom and family. I follow you on Facebook, but I will never forget your kindness and caring heart that you showed to your students in Marion County School District. Praying for you and your family.

My sister Mary or "Miss Mary" (title assigned to her by teachers and supervisors during her high-school internship at Orangeburg School District 5 District Office 1984-1985) always behaved more matured than her actual age. Like our mom (Mrs. Shirley Ann White-Gardner), Mary was strong, brave, bold, smart and beautiful! As her younger brother, Mary would defend me from bullies in School and our community and establish a respectful reputation that she nor I was to be disrespected. My mom instilled in us to always support and love each other...as siblings during times when we quarreled we would ignore our disagreements whenever we faced each other or got knowledge that one of us was in need of help or support. One thing that made my beautiful, strong, brave, and wise sister different from most people I know is her professionalism and self-control. She always was so "cool headed"...when people (even me at times) tried to "push her emotional buttons" or anger her...she would always remain cool, calm and professional...which is one of her many qualities that attributed to her many life successes. Mary, I will always love you and never forget you! May the LORD continue to bless, keep, make his face shine upon you, be gracious unto you, lift up his countenance upon you, and give you eternal peace in heaven. AMEN
