Mary Louise Collins, 68, of Durham, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 14, 1956, Mary was a guiding light to everyone who knew her, living a life full of kindness, generosity, and faith.

Mary was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Peter Collins and Kelly Collins, who were her greatest joys. She poured her heart into raising them, always supporting their dreams and celebrating their accomplishments. Her unwavering love and encouragement shaped their lives in countless ways.

Mary was known for her warm smile, selfless nature, and strong faith in the Lord. She was an active member of her church community, always lending a hand to those in need and spreading hope wherever she went. Her compassion touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Mary is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. Her memory will live on in the lives of those she loved and inspired.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on December 15, 2024 at First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mary’s honor to the No Kid Hungry Foundation.
