I am deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mary Louise Brooks, my beloved mother, and best friend.
Born on May 4, 1930,Born on May 4, 1930, Louise led a life full of love, warmth, and generosity. Louise passed peacefully in her sleep at at home attended by her son and hospice care.
Louise was a gentle soul known for her sweet, loving nature that touched everyone she met. Her love for her family and friends was evident in everything she did, and her shining personality, and strength of character. Her friends were lifelong...
Predeceased by her loving husband, Carl Leo Brooks Jr., she leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted son, and extended cousins and family and friends . Her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her and her spirit will live on in the hearts of the many who loved her. There will be private memorial arrangements.
Louise had a passion for cooking and hosting, often entertaining family and friends with her delicious dishes. She enjoyed her girl friends with her bridge club and social lunches. She was active in Patmos Methodist church enjoying activities and her love for travel took her to many captivating places. The color red, a symbol of her vivacious personality, was her favorite . She loved going to the beach with friends and boating at sm lake.
Death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. Today, as we mourn the loss of the Louise, we also choose to celebrate her life and the love she shared with us. She is always in our hearts and memories...
