Mary Isabel Lareau nee Rutkowski was born on Mother’s day, May 9th, 1943 to her parents Ferdinand and Isabel (“Izzie”) Rutkowski in Baltimore, MD where she spent her formative years being her parents favorite child and a wonderful sibling to Ruth, Doris, and Tom. Though not as gregarious as her siblings her kind temperament was apparent to all, so much with their Catholic upbringing and education, Mary seriously contemplated becoming a nun and dedicating her …
