Mary's obituary
Mary Lou was born on August 11, 1938, the second daughter to Wilburn and Mary Ann( Carney)Jones in Quinton, Oklahoma. Mary Lou was a member of The Choctaw Nation.
Mary was the wife of Donald Gene Lynn Sr for 47 years until his passing. Their union produced seven children. Mary was a homemaker. Mary resided in Oklahoma and previously in California and Texas.
Mary loved the Lord, singing Hymns, prison ministry, crafting, sewing, fashion and listening to her favorite country singer Darrell McCall whom she was his fan club president in the 1970's. The song " Waltz Of The Angels" was played for Mary and Dons first dance in Heaven in her final hours. Mary loved babies, her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and previous pets including rescued wild ones.
Mary was predeceased in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her parents Wilburn Jones and Mary Ann (Carney) Jones , her husband Donald Lynn Sr., three sisters Betty Jones "Pat" , Sharon Jones and Thelma Tribble, son Donald Jr " Bubba", daughter Deanna " Dee Dee" , Granddaughter Jeanne Sullivan- Cantu , nephews and family pets.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Dianna Urrabazo( Roger), Donna Scott( Tim), Deborah Thetford( Russell) , two sons Danny Lynn and Roger Jones(Anna), three sisters Janet Robertson ,Joyce Olsen and Janie Berry and cousin Rose. Mary also leaves 25 grandchildren and their spouses and 32 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends, neighbors and church congregation families. She loved everyone and cherished all the memories made with each and everyone. She appreciated all the help and care provided to her in her times of need. A Big Heartfelt " Thank You" to each of you from our family.
Mary requested cremation by Heart Of Texas Cremation in San Antonio and a private family service due to the Corona Pandemic. At Mary's request she will be returned back to The Choctaw Nation which will be honored on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Sunset.
