Mary Lee Jackson, age 60, of Nevada, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at Rowlett Texas Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on December 27, 1964, in Blooming Grove, Texas, Mary grew up with a warm and generous spirit that touched everyone she met. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas, in the Class of 1982, and went on to live a life filled with faith, laughter, and love.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Miller, and her beloved children: Donald Goodrich, Gabriele Goodrich, JD Wilkins, Rachel Wilkins, Barbara Looney, Adrian Looney, and Connie Joe lanford. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, along with many loving nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Mary is survived by her caring sisters: Mitzi Narvaez, Barbara Reynolds, Connie Wilson, and Audrey Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her cherished parents JD Warren, Daisy Mildred and her dear sister Katherine, whose memories she carried close to her heart.
Mary was a proud and dedicated employee at Walmart, where she not only worked hard but built lasting friendships with her coworkers. Her hobbies reflected her joyful and creative spirit — she loved making TikTok videos, singing and dancing with her friends, and listening to uplifting gospel music. Her faith in God was unwavering, and she lived as a true example of a good Christian woman, offering kindness and encouragement to all.
Her family will forever remember her favorite saying: “I love you to the moon and back.” Mary’s words and actions were filled with this kind of deep and unconditional love. She adored her faithful dog, Coco, who was always by her side.
Even in the face of her long battle with cancer, Mary remained strong, resilient, and full of grace. She inspired everyone around her with her courage and her ability to keep smiling through the toughest of days.
Mary will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and laughter will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
