Mary's obituary
Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother Joe and Cleo Hammond and her step-father Alex Vagott Sr; a son, Phillip Dwayne Hickman of Forest Hills, Ky and a daughter Debbie Hickman Ailiff Duncan of Naugatuck, WV; Husband James Edward Hickman of Phelps, KY and Dave Burgess of Williamson, WV.
Mary was born on August 22, 1935 at Newtown, WV. She was a homemaker and also worked numerous jobs throughout her life. She loved her children and grandchildren, loved to walk, play bingo and run around with her family and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Nancy Stacy of Cape Canaveral, Fl ; Health First Hospice Care of Merritt Island, FL and Melody’s Place of Cocoa FL for the wonderful care and comfort they provided during Mary’s illness and to the family.
Mary was cremated and a memorial service and celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.
