Mary Sue ( Hayslett) Tucker of Seagrove NC passed away Monday October 5, 2020 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. Mary was born in Covington, VA on January 9,1949 to the late George W. Hayslett Jr. and Dorothy E. Hayslett. Mary was the owner of her own Hair Salon in Virginia until moving to North Carolina in the late 80s. She then worked in Child Care the rest of her working days. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She adored her children and grandson more than anything. Mary loved to just sit and talk about her family and what they love to do. She was one to always brag about her kids or grandkids all the time. Mary loved the hot weather and just sitting outside on a warm day enjoying the sun. Her favorite thing to do was talk to her kids! Not a day went by she didn't call them. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Tucker and her brothers George W. Hayslett III and James G. Hayslett. Mary is survived by her children Shon T. Tucker of NC, James( Jamie) W. Tucker Jr. and wife Julia Tucker of VA, Aimee G. Tucker and partner Tom Daly of NC, her grandson Gavin Ellis and step grandsons Nickolas and Travis Daly of NC, her sister Joyce Hayslett of VA. In keeping with her wishes no services will be held.
