Mary's obituary

MILLER---Mary H., 93, Franklin Borough, passed away on October 13, 2024 at Windber Hospice. Born January 9, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph Sr. and Dorothy (Klemen) Studer. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 36 years, Arthur E. Miller; brothers, Frank; Sons; Joseph E. Miller and Delbert F. Miller.  Survived by son, Mark and wife Elizabeth (Rodkey), Vinco; daughter, Annette and husband, Timothy Saylor, Daisytown; Many Grandsons, and Granddaughters; Sister of Josephine Tremul, Grove City, PA. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Doris Studer, Cover Hill and Karen Malnar, Hollsopple and many nieces and nephews. Mary was a teacher’s aide at Conemaugh Valley School District for over 20 years. Mary was an election poll worker in Franklin Borough for many years. She enjoyed shopping on Saturday’s, going to her grandson’s basketball games, attending Mass and eating afterward at Valley Dairy. Former member of St. Rochus Catholic Church. Current member of Resurrection Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh, where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Resurrection Catholic Church, with Fr. George Gulash officiating. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, in memory of Mary H. Miller.
