Mary Elizabeth Graves-Williams,72, of Greenville, NC, was called to eternal rest at Greenville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022. On May 22, 1949, she was born to James and Gertrude Graves. Mary started her early life in New York but later moved to Petersburg, VA where she attended school. She graduated from Petersburg High school, and then later when to attend business college, which led to several job opportunities.
Mary was preceded in death by several loved ones to include her husband Howard Williams Jr, Her 4 children Keith graves, Lorenzo Graves (wife Cheryl Graves), Alonzo Graves, Kim Williams, and devoted son Kenneth Graves, her loving grandchildren Oznola Graves and Malik Williams, her parents, grandparents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory Her sons Laban Williams (daughter in-law Pamela Williams), and Kevin Myrick, 2 sisters Diane Graves (Husband Leandro), Muriel Smith, 2 brothers Fred Patterson (Wife Olga), and Russel Graves, her grandchildren to include her devoted grandson Tywan, Khaeima ( Husband Keith), Tiara, Tyneaka (Johnnie), Laban, Jasmine, Lionel, Dominique, Lamont, Latoya, Hassana (husband David), Her devoted niece Aribah Graves, and a host of other niece/nephews and grandchildren. Mary was a loving a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who was loved by many. Mary will be remembered for her huge heart and warm smile. She will truly be missed.
