Mary Agnes "Medka" Wheeles (Gidus), aged 87, of Winter Park, FL, passed away on March 7, 2024.  She was born on August 20, 1936, in Pittsburg, PA. Mary, known affectionately as "Granny," had a big personality and was extremely generous.

Mary dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, she also worked a variety of jobs over the years to help make ends meet. She found joy in creating ceramics, solving puzzles, playing games, and cherishing all things Disney. Mary was a member of the Catholic Faith community.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John M Wheeles, and her children: John F Wheeles (Kelli) of Kansas City, MO, Wendy Golden (Ricky) of Gaffney, SC, Robert A Wheeles (Donna) of Ashford, AL, and Michelle R Meskill of Hawthorne, CA. 

Mary will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Christopher Pettus, Cory Pettus, Cole Pettus, Teylyr Wheeles, Ariyana Wheeles, Devin Meskill, and great-granddaughter Hayslee Wheeles. She is also survived by her sister Kay Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and one sister. 

Granny’s  legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to family will forever be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
