Mary's obituary
Mary Ann Giddens was kind, thoughtful, generous, and caring to others. Mary Ann had a way of putting acts of kindness out to the world and she loved all her close friends and family and cherished them. Mary Ann left an incredible tragedy after her long battle with Cancer. She peacefully passed away on Tuesday morning, December 16, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Mary Ann was born on November 24, 1944 in Duluth, Minnesota to Frank Herman Chiodo and Rose Marie Smoltz. She spent her life in Minnesota, Louisiana, and Houston. She always had a deep appreciation for the arts-from evenings spent on her working on her books, or mornings spent on playing her keyboard, and nights spent on making her jewelry for her friends. She also had a hobby for building puzzles. Mary Ann was a talented, funny, creative, smart person and she was deeply appreciated by so many people.
