Mary Louise Fuller Lloyd, a radiant beacon of love, wisdom, and humor, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024. Born on August 14, 1926, Mary's life spanned nearly a century, during which time she touched countless lives with her kind heart and vibrant spirit. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her granddaughter, Kathy, as well as many other family members near and far.
Warm, insightful, and universally loved, Mary had a knack for making others feel seen and valued. Her empathetic nature was only matched by her irrepressible humor. Quick-witted and always ready with a smile, Mary taught all who knew her the importance of finding joy in the everyday. Throughout her life, she lived out the principles of forgiveness and optimism , leaving a lasting imprint on those fortunate enough to cross her path.
While Mary was proud of many things—her ability to offer cookies and snacks and provide support and a listening ear, was her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. Her kindness, patience, and unconditional love formed the cornerstone of her family, creating a legacy that will be carried forward by those she leaves behind.
Known for her grace and love, Mary's influence extended well beyond her immediate family. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends, who take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved daughter Ann Lloyd Knight and beloved husband Victor Glen Lloyd as well as her loving parents and siblings in Heaven.
In the wake of Mary's passing, those who loved her are reminded of her wisdom - reminded to see the bright side, to forgive generously, and to create joy and peace at home.
