Mary "Pauline" Fogarty Ross was born on December 25, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  At the age of 80, Pauline passed away on May 4, 2025, at her home in Delray Beach, Florida.   She was the cherished wife and best friend of Jim Ross for 41 years.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jim, her father and mother, Paul and Margaret Fogarty, her brothers Jim and Jerry Fogarty, and sister Patricia Kozel.  She will be deeply missed by her 3 sisters, Sharon Drendel (Naperville, IL), Madonna Schmitt (Columbia, CT) and Karen Monserud (Nederland, CO) and her many nieces, nephews and friends.  Pauline graduated from Regis High School and attended Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She relocated to Chicago,  in the mid 60’s, where she began employment with International Harvester. She attended Northwestern University earning her masters degree. She worked for International Harvester/Navistar for over 30 years. In addition, she actively supported her husband’s businesses in the restaurant and hospitality industry. After retirement the couple worked to assist special needs children through equestrian therapy.  A funeral,service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Michigan,  Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM EDT.  She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Joseph, Michigan,  following the Mass.  A celebration of her life will be held at Tosi’s in Stevensville, Michigan, later that afternoon.  Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
