Dear Aunt Jackie, I'm Thinking about you today as I have been since you passed. I want to thank you for the generous gift that you gave me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity more than words can say. I wonder if you can read this. I hope so because I want you to know that you have made my life easier because of your generosity. The wise words that you imparted to me will always be in my heart and mind, and I will cherish the stories that you told me about the family. The fact that you thought of me and your family in the way that you did speaks volumes about what kind of heart you have, and I only wish that I could tell you how I feel in person, but it will have to wait until I see you again.

First of all, I want you to know that family was always important to our Aunt Jackie. She made many trips to California to see family and always capturing a big group picture of everyone. She had no children of her own so we became her children . She loved life and enjoyed many wonderful trips starting from a early age. As my sisters and I with our husbands went through her things and spent time with her we saw and heard many wonderful memories from her living a good adventurous life. She had heart ache for sure, but she made the best of it and was grateful for her life. She loved Chinese food and In n Out Burger with a strawberry shake. We usually went to a restaurant where she had cut out coupons from the paper the week previous. She was involved in many activities that made lives better. She was well loved by her three nieces and will be missed very much indeed. She believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior that was the foundation of her up bringing. She is with her Lord and Savior today and would want each of us to know of that saving grace....

Jackie loved this poem
Trees
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poem are made by fools like me.
But only God can make a tree
