Mary's obituary
Mary Grace Faison, 72, of Goldsboro, NC, passed away on September 23, 2022 surrounded by love ones at home. Grace was born August 10, 1950 to the late Parent Of Evelyn Grace Williams in Kenansville, NC. She attended Duplin County Schools. She later married Bennie Faison and had two children. Grace loved to work with her hands. She worked in fields cropping tobacco, picking beans and cucumbers. As years passed on she had another daughter that she dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Grace was known for helping others as much as she could. She loved to cook for others and seeing them smile as they talked about how good her food was. Her other passion was fishing. She could be found on the Pier or Sutton's Pond just to fill coolers and then think about all the people she would share them with. Most of all She loved God and sharing the gospel with whomever she came in contact. Grace would start the conversation and in a few minutes she would be praising the Lord. She was not ashamed of how good God was to her. She made it her mission to help improve the lives of others. She would never let the battle of cancer stop her for fulfilling a wonderful life for herself and others. She raised her grandson Brian and loved him as her own. We will miss her greatly. Grace was predeceased by her parents, her brother Joe Daniel Williams and sister Pauline George.
She is survived by her Daughters Everlena and Sharlotte Faison of Goldsboro and Angela Hodges of Warsaw. NC. Grandson Brian Hodges of the Home.
