Jonesboro, AR— Mary Smith, a long-time resident of the Jonesboro area, died Saturday the 11th of July at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Mary worked at various hours as a in home care nurse throughout Jonesboro . During her career, she develpoed long term friendships with her patients and her coworkers that became family to her.

Mary loved good food, socializing, enjoyed going to movies,spending time with friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

When Mary became ill, she was taken home to get in home care treatment by her son-in-law and daughter that stayed by her side until she was called home. She was comforted by her children, nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, and the rest of her family and friends whom lived locally and from Little Rock, Ar and Buffalo, New York.

Memorial gifts may be brought to her home going celebration which will be held Saturday on the 21st of July at Criaghead Forest Park in Jonesboro, AR. 4910 S Culberhouse Rd Pavilion 4.

There will be food, refreshments, a balloon release and a candlelight vigil at sunset.
