Mary Lee Downing passed away suddenly at her residence in Toledo, OH on July 12, 2025 at age 52 from complications of diabetes.

She was born Mary Lee Morgan on April 28, 1973 in Saginaw, MI the youngest child born to William Lee Morgan Jr. and Joye May (Hardy) Morgan.

Mary leaves to cherish the blessed memory of her life 6 children, 2 grandchildren, 5 siblings & her beloved fur baby and service dog Lilee. 

She is survived by her children Cody Cole-Morgan (Pennsylvania), Bethany Morgan (Ohio), Brilynn Collins (Pennsylvania), Christopher Reed (Indiana), Tyler Hawkins (Ohio) and Jesse Sears (Florida). Grandchildren Marcus Reed and Zakari Collins. Siblings Judith Gisselbrecht (California), Susan Kissel (Michigan), Scott Szymanski (California), Lori Duma (Ohio) and Glenda Morgan (Ohio). Many nieces, nephews, friends including dear lifelong friends Eleanor Manwell and Gequeta Ann Lee Mc Clain. 

Mary is predeceased in death by her parents William Lee Morgan Jr & Joye May (Hardy) Morgan, brother Michael Szymanski and sister Hope Marie (Morgan) Poirer. 

A private memorial and  Celebration of Life for Mary will be held a future date hosted by Mary's sister Glenda Morgan and fianceé Eliezer Rodriguez-De Jesus along with niece Katherine Pardo. Details will be provided directly to friends and family by Katherine Pardo.

Anyone wishing to share an expression of sympathy is encouraged to donate to a veterans charity,  take time to spend with a veteran in your community or at a local VA hospital.
