Mary's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Dow on April 19, 2024. Born in 1963, Mary's life was characterized by warmth, kindness and a deep love for others.
Mary played collegiate softball and earned two Masters Degrees, one in Human Relations and Supervision and the other in Counseling, Clinical and Applied Psychology. Mary worked as a Consulting Psychologist at Head Start and was also a Grant Writer for non-profit organizations.
Mary's memory is carried forth by her son, James Dow, and her daughter, Katie Dow. Her legacy of warmth and love extends to them, as she was a devoted mother and a true inspiration. Her spirit, although missed immensely, will continue to live on in them.
She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Virginia Gauthier, and her brother, Ray Gauthier Jr. Their reunions in the realm of the eternal surely bring them peace and joy.
More than just a loving mother, sister, and daughter, Mary was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her departure creates a void that can never be filled, but the fond memories she has left behind will continue to warm our hearts.
In honor of Mary's lifelong love for animals, donations are being accepted in her name for the "Best Friends Animal Society".
