Mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend; Mary Beatrice Dewsbury passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 82 years.

Born and raised in Lacovia, St Elizabeth, Jamaica and moved to Canada in 1976.

Mary enjoyed cooking and always looked after others. She was known to be selfless and loving in all ways. Her heart was to love and bring peace to all those she came in contact with.

She was a mother to 5 children- Jacqueline Johnson, Gary Roper, Pamela Roper-John, Ian Roper and Christopher Dewsbury and had 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. She also leaves behind her two younger sisters Loretta Campbell and Victoria McCalla along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:15pm Saturday February 6th, 2021 at Pine Hills Funeral Centre.

A private family burial will be held at Beechwood Cemetery following the funeral service.
