Beth's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mary Elizabeth Czerniak, affectionately known as Beth, on December 6th, 2025. Born on September 23rd, 1950, Beth lived a life full of love, laughter, and countless memories.

Beth was an incredible woman, known for her kind, loving, tenacious, and fun personality. She had a fondness for life and took great joy in her many hobbies which included crocheting, sewing, gardening, carving, watching Jeopardy and Criminal Minds. Her favorite games were played on her phone, while she relished in the melodies of Classic Rock. Beth was always a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and her favorite movies included Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark and Excalibur.  Her love for fried chicken and Coke a Cola was notorious amongst those who knew her. Always draped in her favorite color, blue, Beth's presence was always comforting.

Graduating from Ivy Tech in 1981, Beth believed in the power of hard work and continual learning - the best lesson she shared was to always be honest. Some of Beth's greatest accomplishments were, undoubtedly, the family that she built. The love for her daughter Joni Eyestone, her granddaughter Tera Czerniak, and her great-grandson James, radiated through her daily life. Their shared memories and unconditional love are an enduring testament to her legacy.

Beloved Beth leaves behind her sister Cathy (David) Emmel, and brother Stanley (Patricia) Czerniak. Her treasured nephews and nieces. And friends that were family. She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Pricilla Czerniak, her brothers David (Georgia) Czerniak and William (Marsha) Czerniak, and her sister Marsha Harris.

Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to a Celebration of Life for Beth on December 21st, 2025, at 2 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars. 66992 Tamarack road, North

Let us remember Beth for the joy she brought into our lives, for the integrity she lived by, and for the love that she so freely gave. She will be deeply missed and always cherished in our hearts.
