I can hardly believe it has been 37 years since Dave and I became friends with Mary and Jere. I was making a quilt for my brother and sister in law and that was all it took. Mary asked me about quilting and we started on the adventure together. Getting fabric deciding on a pattern, cutting, sewing, quilting. Mary, with every craft she did became an expert. Her embroidery was beautiful and her quilting exceptional. The last quilt she helped me with was one to celebrate my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversay in 1988. I will always remember fondly those 4 years we spent in Goulais River.
