I am just learning about Kay’s passing. I am so sorry to hear this. I went to elementary and high school with Miss Kay Fish. A friend of ours, Melinda Stapley Peterman, and I came over to her mother’s home a few years ago. We brought lunch and had a very good visit together. I will find pictures of that day and post them here and maybe on FamilySearch, as well. Kay was a very smart girl and was nice to me as a new student at Madison No. 1 in 5th grade, after boundaries changed.

Kay Cranney is a loving person. I met her through her daughter Sara. Kay would give me a huge hug, and say l was her adopted Arizona daughter whenever l saw her.  I'll never forget how her family opened up their home to me, so l could me to spend Spring Break with them after my divorce. She was so kind. I'm going to miss you, Kay.

Phil and the Cranney family, we’re so sorry for your loss. Losing a mother is heartbreaking, and cancer makes that loss feel especially unfair. I hope you and your family can find some comfort in the love she gave and the memories you shared. Please know you’re in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Kay graciously joined us for our new family past time as we celebrated B's birthday watching the Pens beat the Oilers! She was on the edge of her seat the whole game. I'll miss watching her wander around the rink with her camera, searching for just the right shot of her grandkids playing their favorite game on ice.
