Beth's obituary

Mary Beth McCasland Cox was born on December 10, 1948 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Bobbie and Lambert A. ("Mac") McCasland. She passed away on January - , 2025 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, mother and friend.

Beth's careers were varied, but her life's passion was her devotion to God. Throughout her life, her home was always a place of warmth and hospitality, whether she was serving a meal, leading a Bible study, or leading and mentoring small groups including women in the surrounding communities. Beth loved studying God's word, and taught many to delve into the scripture for deeper understanding. Beth's dedication to God was evident by the loving care she provided to her parents, the joy and love she passed to her daughter and grandchildren, and her close, devoted relationships with family and friends. Her love and faithfulness to God was her continuous priority, which led her to live a life in service to others.  

Beth is survived by her daughter, Talitha with husband, Steve Heisner; her grandchildren, Trey & Abby Heisner; her mother, Bobbie McCrary; her sisters, Kathy Bowers and Linda Chavez with husband, Cesar; her brothers, Kirk McCrary with wife, Anne, and Dan McCasland with wife, Erin; her nephews Christopher Bowers with wife, Ashley, and Carson McCasland; and grandnieces Riley Jade Bowers, Riley Faith Bowers and Sadie Hope Bowers. 

She is preceded in death by her fathers Mac McCasland and Emmet McCrary; niece Karissa Bowers Saling and nephew Connor McCasland.
