Background
Mom was a courageous woman who fought a battle with cancer with dignity and strength I’ve never seen in another. Even tho she suffered greatly her motherly heart protected all her babies till the end.
Her last words to me was, “ I am a fighter, I protected my babies.”
She Dedicated her life to raising her children alone. She done without to make sure her 8 children didn’t do without. Even tho we grew up poor I was unaware of the struggle because her love covered a multitude. Our fathers was mostly absent leaving the young Mary Ellen to figure out how to raise children alone with no help from her family. For this, her memory shall not fade.
Unfortunately, because she kept her I’ll was a secret I wasn’t able to prepare for her final expenses.
Even if you can’t donate financially you’re prayers will be gratefully appreciated. Contribute
