We met Chris when she was Barry Brown's nurse, back in 1990 . She was the best nurse Barry has ever had -- professional, caring, compassionate -- can't say enough positives about her. 

She loved her children to the moon and back -- I know that can be perceived as a trite expression, but it's true. We would catch up on doctor visits, and this always came through -- she absolutely lived for her kids. My condolances. on her passing. She was a kind soul, and will be truly missed.

Chris was truly an Angel walking on earth—kind, gentle, deeply caring and compassionate. I first met her nearly thirty-five years ago when I was nearly 20 minutes late to my first appointment in St Helena with my newborn, having struggled greatly as a first-time mom to make it into the car and over the mountain from Middletown with a five-day-old screaming infant. When the receptionist told me coldly „well, you’re too late, you‘ll have to reschedule,“ I fell into total  despair, unable to speak or move. At that moment Chris walked through the reception area, took one look at me and my little baby and said „oh, that’s not necessary, come right in, the doctor will see you now.“ She sat me down in an exam room, put her hand on my shoulder, smiled warmly as she looked at me with her sparkling eyes, and made me feel safe and calm. I will NEVER forget the tremendous kindness and care that just flowed from her, at that moment and throughout the entire time my family and  I had the privilege of being her patients. Dear Chris, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are home now with the other angels, and I’m smiling up at you, with great gratitude for your life here on earth.

I was saddened to hear that Chris has passed away. I was in nursing school with her and she was so sweet and kind and confident and truly an inspiration to me. We all went our separate ways after nursing school and I am glad to hear she had a career that she must have loved very much. My sincere condolences to her family. She loved you dearly. 

Chris and I were in nursing school together. She was such a sweet heart; smart, caring, knowledgeable and a wonderful friend. I always smile when I think of her. God bless you Chris and RIP❤️
