Mary's obituary
It is with profound and heartbroken sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Goodson. Born on June 20, 2015, Mary's untimely departure from this world occurred on August 22, 2025. Her life, though brief, was brimming with vitality, joy, and love, leaving a timeless echo in the hearts of those she left behind.
Mary is survived by her devoted father, Chase Goodson, and her loving mother, Natalie Davis. Parents are not supposed to bid goodbye to their children, and for them, this loss is an unbearable agony that matches the enormity of their love for her.
Mary’s young life was colored with the simple pleasures she found delight in. French fries were her favorite food, her eyes lighting up at the sight of them. The world of animals held a special fascination for her, and she spent countless hours watching her favorite TV shows on Animal Planet. Her fondness for the movie The Lion King, was unmatched. Mary's energetic and playful spirit shone through in her love for singing and playing outside. The color yellow reflected her vibrant and sunny personality; it was her favorite color, symbolizing her radiant love for life.
Describing Mary merely as loving, energetic, and playful would be an understatement. She was all that and much more: she was the embodiment of pure and innocent love, her energy was infectious, lighting up our lives, and her playful nature was a constant reminder to find joy in life's simplest moments.
The indescribable pain of losing her is the price we pay for the immeasurable love she bestowed upon us. As we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we also celebrate her spirit, which continues to inspire and guide us. Mary, your loss is indeed the greatest price we've ever paid; you will forever remain vividly etched in our hearts and our memory.
